About this product
ABB's MO132/MO165 manual motor starters provide short-circuit protection only (no thermal overload element) for use where overload protection is handled separately, e.g. ahead of a variable speed drive or soft starter. MS132-T circuit breakers are a specialised variant designed specifically to protect control transformers on the primary side, with the short-circuit trip fixed at 20x the rated operating current so that normal transformer inrush current does not cause nuisance tripping.
