About this product
ABB's MS116/MS132/MS165 manual motor starters combine short-circuit, overload and phase-loss protection in a single device for direct motor circuit protection and manual on/off switching - no separate contactor is required for basic manual starting duty. The current setting is adjustable across a rated range on each type, and the frame size (MS116/MS132/MS165, larger number = larger frame/higher current) is selected to match the motor's Ie current. They mount DIN-rail or panel-mount and accept the same range of accessories (auxiliary contacts, rotary handles) as ABB's other motor-protection product lines.
