Lauritz Knudsen MO C series capacitor duty contactors are built for switching power factor correction capacitor banks, covering 3 to 100 kVAr at 440V 3 phase 50Hz under AC-6b duty and conforming to IS/IEC 60947-4-1. They use delatching type early make contacts with an encapsulated damping resistor assembly and separate termination for damping resistors, which limits capacitor inrush current. Features include a common coil for 50 and 60Hz application, low pick-up VA consumption, suitability for lug as well as lugless termination, standard accessories in line with the MO contactor range, and RoHS compliance. Every type carries a built-in 1 NO auxiliary contact. Standard coil voltage is 240V, 50/60Hz.
